Today marks a profound shift in Dhee's direction. After months of exploration with the community platform idea, I've realized my true calling: building technology for genuine human transformation through Madhyasth Darshan. The pivot is complete. Dhee is now an AI companion designed to help Madhyasth Darshan practitioners bridge the gap between understanding (adhyayan) and practice (abhyas) - turning study into lasting inner resolution. Why this shift? While building tools for trust-based communities was meaningful, I kept returning to a deeper question: Can technology truly serve human flourishing? Not engagement, not productivity, but genuine transformation toward happiness in continuity? Madhyasth Darshan provides a clear, logical framework for understanding existence and achieving lasting resolution of internal conflicts. It's not belief-based spirituality - it's a systematic approach to seeing reality as it is (sah-astitva) and living accordingly. What is Dhee now? Dhee offers three integrated spaces: • Study: Read MD texts with AI assistance, ask questions, get practice suggestions • Dialogue: Work through internal conflicts with AI-guided Socratic questioning grounded in MD principles • Progress: Track your transformation, journal reflections, monitor resolved conflicts This is a 30-year project. Phase 1 (Years 0-10) focuses on deeply serving 1,000 committed MD practitioners. Phase 2 (Years 10-20) expands to other wisdom traditions. Phase 3 (Years 20-30) makes consciousness development accessible to all 8 billion humans. I'm building this with: • No dark patterns, no engagement manipulation • Success measured by internal resolution, not screen time • 20 hours/week sustainable pace, family-first • Complete transparency, building in public The technology stack: Next.js, Convex, AI models fine-tuned on MD texts. After valuable discussions with the SaaS founders group, I realized I needed to focus on the unique value proposition that I want to offer rather than trying to be another generic extensible platform. My general experience has been with communities and movements with inherent trust and real-world connections and the idea for Dhee actually came from that. But fearing that I would not get enough traction with such a niche domain, I made it generic. But, after the helpful feedback from the generous people who spent time going over my previous iteration, I decided to do what I originally intended. Dhee will now focus on empowering these communities with real-world connections and trust networks. The key insight? These communities have something precious - inherent trust and real-world connections. They need tools that preserve and amplify these relationships as they scale online, not replace them. Made significant updates to reflect this new focus: - Rewritten the landing page to emphasize trust-based features - Updated core functionality to focus on trust networks - Added features specific to real-world community coordination - Refined the FAQ to better explain our unique approach This pivot feels right. Instead of competing in the crowded space of generic community platforms, we're now focusing on a specific need that isn't well-served: helping trusted communities thrive online while maintaining their special character.
